Srinagar, September 24: Suspected militants on Thursday evening shot dead advocate Babar Qadr in Hawal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The militants fired upon Babar Badri from blank point killing him instantly on the spot at Hawal.
Medical Superintendent Dr Farooq Jan also confirmed GNS that Babar Qadri had recieved bullet wound and was brought dead to hospital. Babar Qadri was a Advocate, Panelist, debater and also a writer. Soon after the attack whole area has been condoned off to nab the attackers.

National Conference President Omar Abdullah on Thursday evening said that Advocate Babar’s warning was his last tweet. While taking on the micro blogging site Twitter Omar Abdullah said, ” The assassination of Babar Qadri this evening is tragic and I unequivocally condemn it. He said the sense of tragedy is all the more because he warned of the threat.
Pertinently, Unknown gunmen this evening shot dead advocate Babar Qadri in Hawal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar District. This is second such killing in the last 24 hours.
On Wednesday evening a political activitist was killed by suspected gunmen in Budgam district.
